This came with my bundle. I was about to add it the pile of things I have no interest in checking out (get a few of those from big bundles like this). I mean, who wants to be labeled by a game as to what gender they are?
Though I decided to just to take a peek and I see it's not that. The game design is rather interesting. Something I have not played before. I will add this to the games to check out later. I even got past being triggered by the word CIS.
Oh this should not have happend. Since both switch and gate dont seem to move I assume there is some sort of error that caused these behaviours to halt. You can still move around on the platform I assume? With WebGL its kind of hard to say what exactly is going on, but I'll try and see if I can reproduce the issue, thanks for reporting it =)
absolutely wonderful seeing a take on the visual and mechanical style of Antichamber, but in a setting I can relate to :) the visual metaphors are strong, and lovely to reflect on!

the space map was so interesting, some of the transitions made my computer lag. tho the story was interesting even though I knew the terms (somewhat) the representation of them through the space was interesting, really good
Frustratingly some spaces (the euphoria room and outdoors ares in particular) can be somewhat taxing on ones hardware. They stack a few mechanics on top of each other that made optimisation a bit more complicated than we had originally hoped. Glad you were able to enjoy the game non the less =)
this is a beautifully constructed game and really wonderfully designed. while i already knew most of these terms, there were some others i wasnt aware of and it taught me something. not to mention i had a pleasantly peaceful time exploring the map. i love the way it loops and connects. hope to see more of your work in the future <3

[content references follow] I love how the first room/term I've found was trans, and that apparently there's a only fem room... (haven't tried walking through color-coded doors, turned around...). Also the room which allows to choose and experience pronouns is a great way to explore options and check on feelings
I loved this so much not only did it help with who i am today, it also helped me with my parents understand the meaning of the different parts of identity <3

This is a very thoughtful experience, I had to think on it for a while. I see a lot of things describing me like not many other places can. Its real good work.
Very creative use of space! It made me emotional. I felt like I was being seen in a way that a lot of queer media just doesn't have. I like that you added less well-known terms like hijira and gendervoid, and neopronouns like xe, ey, and one.
As a trans person, the trans/passing room hit me pretty strongly. When you're trans and pre-everything, you want to pass so badly, but it just feels distant and unreachable, so you're left gazing wistfully at other people and wishing you could look like them. And when you're passing, it feels... limiting. Walking along that narrow bridge, wishing you could be out and proud, if only it didn't run a risk to your safety. Wanting to break free of gender roles, but still wanting to be seen as your gender.
I like seeing people interpret rooms different ways. For me the one that stood out most was the euphoria room where the path came up when you walked forward. I made it across, but every time I tried going back I just kept falling over and over into the gray below it. Even if unintentional, I felt like it really represented how reaching a state of gender euphoria is for me, where I had it at one point but as time went on I got confused and lost all over again. But then I just climbed the stairs the devs put in, and slowly found the right way to walk so that I could keep the path forming for me. Loved everything about this game. <3
Reading about the different interpretations people have about a game is one of the most interesting aspects of making them. Thank you for sharing yours <3
Can I just mention the brilliance of the pronouns room? I spent a while in there just walking through all of the doors, thinking about which sentence I felt truly referred to me. A lovely educational tool and self-exploration tool.
All these different manifestations of individuality/individualism are so beautiful. I hope we will succeed in defending the liberal rights and freedoms for the generations to come.

I tried climbing the diagonal pillar from trans to passing and could almost get there if it wasn't for the fence I might have been able to. Was that intentional as some kind of metaphor?
It wasnt intended (it was originally possible to jump off, but we ended up disallowing that in order to optimise performence) but there have been quite a few interpretations of rooms we didnt originally consider.
This game made me feel really seen during what is an incredibly difficult time. I don't know how this collection of cubes made me so emotional, but it certainly did. Thanks for making this game.
I like how it said male or female so I went through the pink door which i presume is for female. then there was a path with arrows and I ignored it and went the other way and it said trans which exactly me which I found hilarious.
Thank you for making this game! One of the developers commented on my YouTube playthrough already. Just thought I'd share it here as well. It had lovely use of color and design. The architecture is very clever at times.
I'm sorry to say there is no masc room. We had to make a somewhat arbitrary cutoff somewhere what terms we'd include and which we wouldn't get to and we decided we wanted to make it clear by the composition of the collection that the list of covered terms was incomplete. We added the map in order to help players figure out what they have already found and what remains to be discovered.
Also, I loved the game, very informative and can be so helpful for a lot of people. Me, as a gender fluid person, found it very relaxing and like a way to understand me a bit more. And also I freaking love the non-Euclidian space games, it's really awesome and confusing.
It was on the part of the 'CIS' sign. If you go around that same part over and over, the letters will go up and eventually disappear and that's where I fell of, at the end of the hallway.

Update: I've replayed it to test it out. You can get there by entering the trans room, going a bit further to the stairs, just to make the first room to transform in the loop, and then go back to the cis hallway and go around it in the opposite direction of the arrow, a few times. Eventually the hallway will end in a wall and you can pass through it and fall forever.
If you go around enough on the direction of the arrow, you'll get the cis sign to disappear completely, but I didn't get to fall like in the other direction.
I haven't tested it with the rest of the rooms, I have homework to do xD, but I hope this is helpful.
This game made me incredibly euphoric. I've always known I'm a trans man, but this game helped me explore my identity more. The pronoun doors were so fun, I think I've found some new ones! Absolutely love this game.

Haha, do you remember where you fell off? We tried to block off/fix all the gaps where people could fall off, but some always seem to slip through.
